The sculpture vessel, Uncharted, is created using a technique that I developed, which took me five years to successfully realize. The vessel is created, using thin stringers of glass, think of angel hair pasta, each placed one by one in many layers to create its woven texture. Through successive kiln work, the piece is heated and fused together just enough that it becomes solid, but retains its woven cloth like texture. This piece includes various shades of blue and a strand of purple.
